Mazda has confirmed the all-new Mazda 6e will arrive in New Zealand in Spring 2026, bringing a fully electric successor to the popular Mazda6.

It is one Highly Equipped Model

The Mazda 6e will launch locally in a single Takami grade, offering a high level of standard equipment.

It will be powered by a 78kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, delivering:
Up to 560km WLTP driving range
190kW power / 290Nm torque
Rear-wheel drive performance

Using a 195kW DC fast charger, the battery can charge from 10–80% in about 24 minutes.

The Mazda 6e introduces Mazda’s “Authentic Modern” design language with several standout features:
Frameless doors
Illuminated front signature wing that shows charging status
19-inch aerodynamic wheels
Full-width rear light bar
Electronically extendable rear spoiler
