Mazda has done it again. At the 2026 World Car Awards in New York, the MAZDA 6e / MAZDA EZ-6 was officially crowned World Car Design of the Year.
This marks Mazda’s third win in this category, following the MX-5 (2016) and the Mazda3 (2020), solidifying their position as a global leader in automotive aesthetics.
Design Meets Innovation
Chosen by 98 international journalists from 90 eligible models, the MAZDA 6e represents the evolution of Mazda’s Kodo — Soul of Motion philosophy. Under the theme of “Authentic Modern,” it blends a sleek coupe silhouette with the advanced tech of a battery electric vehicle (BEV).
• Jinba-ittai Performance: Even in the electric era, the 6e prioritizes the “oneness between car and driver.”
• Artisan Craftsmanship: Sculptural forms designed by human hands to evoke emotion and movement.
• Global Rollout: Following its European debut in late 2025, the 6e is launching in more regions throughout 2026.
At Armstrong’s, we are proud to represent a brand that continues to push the boundaries of “Radically Human” design.
