What makes this hybrid different?

The X55 Hybrid’s RE-HEV technology puts its electric motor to work throughout your journey.

At low and medium speeds, the battery supplies power to the motor. At higher speeds, the petrol engine can drive a generator to supply electricity to the motor and recharge the battery. The system also recovers energy during coasting.

You don’t have to manage any of this. The system takes care of the power supply, delivering smooth acceleration through a single-speed drive system.

For you, that means responsive performance when you pull away and quieter driving around town. There’s no home charger to install and no charging stop to plan.

Performance without overlooking fuel efficiency

The X55 Hybrid pairs its electric-motor performance with quoted combined fuel consumption of 5.8 litres per 100 kilometres.

Inside, the quieter hybrid drive complements the X55’s distinctive cabin design. A 12.3-inch central control screen sits alongside a 10.25-inch digital instrument display, with a sculpted centre console and dashboard.

Two variants, the Elite Hybrid and Premium Hybrid, give you a choice of specification. Both come backed by a 7-year unlimited kilometre vehicle warranty.
