One of the biggest attractions at Fieldays will be the growing Leapmotor range, including the recently launched B10 and C10 SUVs.

Visitors will get a first look at the new B10 REEV, which combines the benefits of electric driving with extended range capability. Starting from $39,990 + ORC, it delivers an affordable entry into electrified motoring while maintaining a strong focus on safety and family-friendly technology.

Making its New Zealand debut is the all-new Leapmotor B05, a performance-focused electric hatchback that blends everyday practicality with engaging driving dynamics. The B05 Design model produces 160kW of power and 240Nm of torque, offers up to 480km of WLTP driving range, and features rear-wheel drive, multi-link suspension and a perfectly balanced 50:50 weight distribution.

The B05 will launch from $43,990 + ORC for the Life model, while the 67.1kWh Design version on display at Fieldays will be priced from $47,990 + ORC.

BAIC Continues to Build Momentum.

BAIC has quickly established itself as one of New Zealand’s most exciting new automotive brands, with the X55 and B30 SUVs attracting growing attention from customers looking for technology, capability and value.

Fieldays visitors can see the popular B30 Premium Adventure Hybrid AWD, which combines hybrid efficiency with genuine all-wheel-drive capability. The model is available with a special Fieldays offer of $49,990 + ORC, along with a 50% saving on the roof platform package.

The X55 Premium Plus is also available with a launch offer of $35,990, representing a $2,000 saving off the recommended retail price.

Looking ahead, BAIC is preparing to introduce the X55 Hybrid later this year, while its premium electric sub-brand Arcfox will arrive in New Zealand showrooms from August. The fully electric Arcfox T1 Premium is expected to start from $34,990 + ORC, making it one of the most accessible EVs in its class.

Dongfeng Delivers Affordable EV Innovation.

Dongfeng continues to challenge expectations around electric vehicle ownership with a range of feature-packed models designed to make EVs more accessible.

A standout at Fieldays will be the updated MY26 Dongfeng BOX. Priced from just $29,990 + ORC, it is currently the only new-energy vehicle available in New Zealand under $30,000 with a WLTP driving range exceeding 300km.

The latest model adds an impressive list of features, including six airbags as standard, a new 12-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, heated and ventilated driver’s seat, wireless phone charging, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera and automatic parking functionality.
