A 51.87kWh lithium iron phosphate battery gives the Vigo 340km of WLTP range. The number that stands out is the charging, though. In 18 minutes it can go from 30 to 80 percent time on a DC fast charger. At home you charge at 6.6kW overnight, and the battery works in reverse too. Vehicle-to-load output will run a coffee machine at the campsite or power tools where there is no mains.
The tailgate is the conversation starter. It splits top and bottom, and the lower half takes your weight, so it becomes a bench for pulling off muddy boots or watching Saturday sport from the boot. The boot carries 500 litres. The front passenger seat folds flat too, which is the trick that gets shelving, curtain rails and the odd paddleboard home. There is even a light in the luggage area.
