For the 2009 model year Aston Martin gave the Vantage its first major update, replacing the earlier 4.3 with the larger 4.7L naturally aspirated V8, increasing output to 313kW and 470Nm, and revising both the Sportshift transmission and interior.
Finished in Silver with a dark blue soft top and matching blue leather interior, this example has travelled 108,500km and still looks every bit as special as an Aston should.
The 4.7 is the sweet spot for these early Vantages. You get the naturally aspirated V8 soundtrack, rear-wheel drive, front-mid-engine layout and compact proportions that made the original V8 Vantage such a good car.
This one uses Aston Martin's 6-speed Sportshift automated manual, giving you paddle-shift control while retaining much more mechanical character than a conventional automatic.
