The exterior is deliberately simple. Full LED headlights form a sharp signature across the front, the door handles sit flush with the body, and 18 inch alloy wheels are standard on both grades. At the rear, a full-width LED light bar connects the tail lights. Six colours are available, including Starry Night Blue, Dawn Purple and Tundra Grey.
Interior space is one of the B10’s strengths. The flat floor and panoramic glass roof create an open feeling cabin, and rear legroom is big enough for adults on longer journeys. The front seats recline fully, and two wireless charging pads are fitted in the centre console. The Design adds eco-leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a 12-speaker audio system and 64-colour ambient lighting. Boot capacity is 430 litres, or 1,700 litres with the rear seats folded. Everything you need for a road-trip.
Flush door handles for a cleaner side profile and less wind noise at speed.
One panel of glass from the windscreen to the rear seats, with an electric sunshade for the middle of summer.
Two wireless pads in the console. Driver and passenger both charge, and the cables stay at home.
Both front seats fold fully flat. Useful on a long drive, during a long charge or for a much needed nap.
Four energy modes decide when the Ultra Hybrid’s generator runs. The engine charges the battery and nothing else; the wheels are always electric.
Lock, pre-cool, check the charge or find the car in a crowded car park, all from the Leapmotor app. An NFC card sits in the wallet as a backup key.
The B10 Life is rated at 361km WLTP from a 56.2kWh battery, and the B10 Design at 434km from a 67.1kWh battery. The B10 Ultra Hybrid has an electric range of 86km and a combined range of up to 900km.
The motor, central display, glass roof and all 17 driver assistance features are shared. The Design adds the larger battery, eco-leather seats with heating and ventilation, electric seat adjustment, a heated steering wheel, an electric tailgate, a 12-speaker audio system, ambient lighting and rain-sensing wipers.
The B10 is available as a fully electric SUV or as an Ultra Hybrid. The Ultra Hybrid is a range-extender: the electric motor controls the wheels at all times, and a 1.5 litre petrol engine operates only as a generator to recharge the 18.8kWh battery when required.
Yes. The electric B10 was awarded a five-star ANCAP safety rating in 2026. It has seven airbags, a high-strength body structure and 17 driver assistance functions on both grades.
Test drives are available at Armstrong’s Leapmotor in Auckland (Greenlane and Botany), Lower Hutt and Christchurch. Use the Book a test drive button on this page to arrange a time.
